PROFESSIONAL MEMBERS:

Individuals who are licensed in the State of Alabama as professional engineers and practice structural engineering. Shall be a Licensed Professional Engineer duly licensed by any state in the United States of America regularly engaged in the practice of structural engineering or, a person who, in the unanimous opinion of the Board of Directors, has attained such imminence in the field of engineering as to qualify him for professional membership in the Association.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERS:

Shall have had active practice in structural engineering for at least four years. Graduation from college with a degree in engineering from a school of recognized standing shall be equivalent to four year of active practice.

AFFILIATE MEMBERS:

Shall be qualified based on his/her ability and willingness to cooperate in the promotion of the Associations purposes. Prospective Affiliate Members must be sponsored by at least one Professional Member, and the name of such Member shall be submitted on the membership application.
